Traveling with two kids June 21, 2008

is (I am sure you are surprised to hear) more difficult than with one.  But, we made it!  We had a wonderful trip to Seattle and Olympic National Park and I finally got to see all the beautiful mosses and ferns in the Hoh Rainforest – a goal of mine for a number of years.  I’m not sure why I love the National Park Service so much, but I do.  I spent some time on Wikipedia reading about the NPS and discovered that out of the 58 officially designated National Parks in the US, I have visited only 19: Arches, Badlands, Big Bend, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Carlsbad Caverns, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Great Smoky Mountains, Guadalupe Mountains, Hot Springs, Olympic, Petrified Forest, Redwood, Shenandoah, Yellowstone and Zion.  Time to get traveling again…

In the meantime, I’ve started (but definitely not finished) putting up photos – enjoy!
